Riverlight History

Riverlight Cattery started breeding the Russian Blue in the early 80's and though we are dedicated to developing the "non-blue" Russian we still maintain our lines of blues. 

Recently we were able to trace two of our current cats back to the original cats imported by Mrs Carew-Cox in the 1890s.  One of those cats is Riverlight Nikita pictured to the left.

Bloodlines

Nikita is just one of our cats able to trace his descent all the way back to Lingpopo, one of Mrs Carew-Cox's cats imported into England in the late 19th century.
